Privacy, made clear.
Airea is made by Alan Eduardo Cruz Ruiz. This policy covers data in the app and on this website. Last updated: October 16, 2026.
No accounts or advertising
Airea does not require sign-up, sell data or include advertising or cross-app tracking. It has no usage analytics SDK such as Firebase Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. RevenueCat processes purchase information as described below.
Apple Health
With your permission, Airea saves breathing time as Mindful Minutes in Health. The iPhone app does not read Health data. Apple Watch also reads today’s total for complications. If you enable heart rate, which is off by default, the Watch measures it during sessions and saves it with a Mind & Body workout; Airea does not display your pulse. We do not send Health samples to our servers or RevenueCat. Apple may sync Health across your devices according to your iCloud settings. Manage permissions in Health and Airea settings.
Your preferences and devices
Preferences are stored on your device and in an App Group container for the app and widgets. Some preferences, including color, pace, duration, sound, daily goal and the heart-rate setting, sync between iPhone, iPad and Apple TV using iCloud key-value storage. The heart-rate setting is a preference; measured samples are not part of this Airea sync. iPhone and Watch exchange preferences and Pro status through WatchConnectivity. Local session totals support widgets. We do not receive a copy of this information on our own server.
Purchases with RevenueCat
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat helps verify purchases and restore Airea Pro access. It receives an anonymous app identifier, purchase history and operational request information, such as app and system version, storefront and IP address. Purchase history supports app functionality and purchase analytics, including RevenueCat reports. We do not link it to your name or email or use it for advertising tracking. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
Notifications and diagnostics
Reminders are local and optional. Airea uses Apple’s system diagnostic logs for operation and errors. It does not include a custom usage-event pipeline or remote crash-reporting service. Apple may process diagnostics according to your device preferences.
This website and its demo
The demo, limited to three minutes, and color selection run in your browser memory. Sessions are not saved. No Health, camera, microphone or location access is requested. The website detects your preferred browser language. If you switch between Spanish and English, it saves only that choice in browser local storage (localStorage); change it again with the language selector or clear it in your site data. There are no tracking cookies, visitor analytics or advertising scripts. Cloudflare, its hosting provider, may process request information, such as IP addresses, to serve and secure the website. There is no sign-up or waitlist form.
Your choices
You can disable Health permissions and reminders in their settings. Deleting the app removes local storage, but preferences stored in iCloud may remain and return after reinstalling; manage iCloud data and backups in your Apple settings where available, or contact us. Delete Health samples in Health. Manage purchases and subscriptions in your Apple account; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Contact us for information about, or deletion of, purchase records under our control. Some records may be retained where needed for legal or transaction obligations.
Children and wellness
Airea is not directed at children under 13. It is a wellness tool, not a medical service: it does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease. Breathe comfortably and stop if you feel unwell.
Contact and changes
We will update this policy if data practices change. Privacy questions: [email protected].
